Massive Mistake

Hat Yai is part of the southern states of thailand that are included in the governments 'Places NOT to go' list. This is because these states have a separtist terrorist group that regularly set off bombs. We assumed that we would only need to be here for around half an hour before getting on a bus into Malaysia, however we arrived and were told that this was not possible and so we had to STAY THE NIGHT... dududurrrrr !! The Macdonalds was protected by armed guards and our hostel looked more like a prison, however we were fine and a good sleep was had by all !! The next day we sped away by bus to the safety of Malaysia
