The people on the bus go zzzzzzzzzzzz............

Once we arrived, we cruised through customs where some drunk and happy fellas welcomed me into Iceland. They were behind us in line and answered for me every time the immigration officer asked me a question. When the officer asked me if I had been to Iceland before I replied, "no first time here". And the men behind us yelled "Welcome to Iceland" ... ok, now imagine that with Icelandic accents. It was pretty funny.
After collecting our bags yet again, we jump on a bus to take us to our hotel. Ok, so we stayed at the Park Inn Island about a 20 minute walk from downtown. It took us over 1.5 hours to get to the hotel because the bus dropped off everyone and their mother. And since the streets downtown were so small the bus had to carefully and SLOWLY maneuver around the streets. M and I were so tired by this point. We checked into the hotel and past out. We had an excursion planned for 11:40 the next day, so we were looking forward to sleeping in... or so I thought.
