Sisi, Steffi, Mozart... just Vienna :)
I woke up really early in order to leave everything ready before leaving to
I wasn't a big fan of Sisi, but know who she was.
While I was in school, I was learning German and one of the teachers used to play some of Sisi's movies to practice the language. So it was nice to see Sisi's belongings. All the luxury from the palaces was amazing! The gardens were beautiful and the day was perfect. The sky looked great too. After visiting the palaces I stayed in the area walking around. Then I took the train to go to downtown and was walking around the opera. There were guys dressed as Mozart inviting people to go to the opera. I wanted to get a pic with one of them and he took off his coat and gave it to me to get a picture dressed like a Mini Mozart. They were fun hahaha!
Ok, it was time to go to the Stephanplatz again. This time the cathedral was open and I climbed to the Steffi. It was great! The view was wonderful! It was completely worth coming back and climbing all the stairs. I stayed there for a while enjoying the view fo the city, and taking a break, haha.
Before going back to the hostel. I stopped to buy a couple of stuffs including: the first magnet for my collection! So bad I didn't buy any in Germany. Mmm, does it mean I have to go back, mmm, hahaha. By the time I was ready, it was time to go. So I went back to the hostel, picked my stuff, went to the train station, got my big bag and waited for the train.
It was really hot when I noticed that with the Eurailpass I could get free entrance to the VIP Lounge. Cool, a/c!!!! It was fun, everyone was so well dressed there and I was just wearing shorts, hahaha. I found a nice coach and then a girl approached to me. She was Korean and was backpacking by herself too. So we started to chat while we enjoyed our free drinks and some snacks, before I noticed it was time to departure.
I was taking the night train from Vienna to Venice. It would be my 1st night train ever... I had nice "roommates". We shared a couple of beers and were chatting until we fall asleep. I'd wake up in Italy, yay!!!

Inside you'll find the sepulcher of Emperor Frederick III; the pulpit; the Altarpiece of Wiener Neustadt and the tomb of Prince Eugene of Savoy. The architecture is awesome and overwhelming.
But, if you are fit and want to get one of the best views of the city, I highly suggest to climb the 343 steps of the tower aka Steffi. It's open from 9am - 5:30pm.
It costs something extra, but a breathtaking view is priceless.

In my case I didn't have much time to visit all the attractions of the city, but wanted to visit as much as possible. I got the "Sisi Ticket"
It included:
•Schönbrunn Schloss (Castle),
•Hofburg: Kaiserappartments, Sisi Museum, & Silberkammer
•Hofmobiliendepot: Imperial Furniture Collection
Try to arrive early, so you will be able not only to visit the Castle. The tour is easy with the audioguide. Not only the building itself is gorgeous. Also the gardens are so beautiful. And of course not to forget the furniture and art pieces inside.
They offer different kind of tickets, so you can visit more than 1 attraction. I got the Sisi Ticket wich allowed me to visit: Schönbrunn Schloss (Castle), Hofburg Castle &
Hofmobiliendepot.
When I went to the Schönbrunn, I got the "Sisi ticket" which included a visit to the Sisi Museum. This museum is located in the Hofburg castle and its main attraction is the exhibition of different belongings from Sisi.
They also exhibit clothing from Sisi and tell you the story about her life, which is surrounded by mistery. There are movies about it. At the end you can also visit her private apartments. So nice!
