I was between jobs, which allowed me to take longer vacations than usual. Yes, not so long as I'd have liked. But enjoyed every single minute. It was my 1st trip solo and 1st as backpacker. So exciting!!! I assume, I got the travel bug here. And guess what. I don't want to get rid of it. Love it!!!!!

Meeting an old friend!!!

We were in a hurry to go back home as soon as possible, because we'd have some company. The other Dutch guy I met in Cusco (during the Inca Trail) would go to "our" house later.

Rum and his girlfriend arrived right after us, ufffff, just on time. The boys were taking care of the bbq while the girls where just chatting inside, hahaha. Then the whole group got together and moved to the patio.

All of us had common memories, excepting of Rum's girlfriend. I was glad, finally knowing her. I heard a lot about them when we were in Cusco, hahaha. We were just hanging out and talking about Cusco and the Inca Trail. Then Run remembered that when I first mentioned I would visit them in Holland, he thought I was just kidding. Never underestimate a Peruvian girl ;)

It was almost 11pm and it wasn’t dark. But it was time for us to sleep. Another long day is waiting for us long ;)
