Glamorous Milano - Fashion!
Despite I went to bed late, I got up really early! It was really early and left the hostel even before taking breakfast. I'd do that later. First, the first. I went to the station in order to book my ride to
I was in my way back to the hostel and met my 3 new friends at the subway, hahaha. It was so fun! Who was following who? They were carrying their big backpacks. They were leaving the city around noon. Hopefully we'd meet later. They were thinking about visiting the Duomo, and so did I. I arrived to the hostel, had breakfast and got ready to start a new day.
I went to the Duomo, but I forgot I was wearing shorts and no sleeves, so I couldn’t go inside :( But, I’d be back, hahaha. Anyway I climbed and got an amazing view of the city. The architecture of the Duomo is wonderful! Wow!
Well, I was in Milano and you could see fashion everywhere! I went to Corso Vittorio Emanuele, so chic! All the big brands and designers were present there. Then I went to La Scala, went inside and walked inside this beautiful opera house. I wish I would have bought a ticket in advance and enjoyed a good Opera in the famous "La Scala".
My plan was going back to the hostel around noon, so I could get dressed with anything but the shorts and became able to go inside the cathedral. In the meanwhile I walked through the city and visited a couple of churches: Sn. Ambrocio and Sta. Maria delle Grazie - there is where you can find Leonardo’s “Last Supper”. I was walking through many piazzas and enjoying a sunny day.
When I was at the Metro Station I met a Peruvian girl, hahaha. We started to talk and I asked her where I could find some nice clothes, but not too expensive. Mmm, she suggested me to check the outlets, hahaha.
Great idea!!! I would do that later, they weren't located in the main square. Most of the shops there were “chiuso” closed. Last night was “Note Bianca” a big party and nobody were working today. I could find rests of the party in the main square, hahaha. I kept on walking and went back to the hostel.
Before leaving the hostel, I told the people at the front desk that I'd stay 1 extra night, but didn't pay for it. I was thinking doing it when I was back. So I went straight to my dorm and Oh Nooooooooooo, I left a capri, a t-shirt and a pair of saldals and my towel out the locker and they disappeared! Nooooooo! I looked for them, but no luck... just found my towel... damn!!! Tried to talk to the staff, but they just said it was my fault, because I should have prepaid, what?!?!?!?
I was feeling so bad… what could make me feel better? Shopping!!!! Hahaha, so I decided to spoil myself and do some shopping.
I remember the directions for the outlets and leave the hostel in order to go there. I’m happy I’m a small girl and it was summer, so the clothes weren’t heavy. I also got a pair of nice sandals, well I was in Milano ;)
I went back to the hostel and was hopping the girl in the front desk could help me doing a reservation for
So I crossed the street and went inside the only store I found open. Waited for a couple of minutes inside, hoping the creepy guy has already left, but no! I left the store and he was still there. Then I saw a nice guy listening to his Ipod and walking in the direction to my hostel (I was just a couple of blocks away), I approached to him and asked for directions about how to arrive to the hostel (of course I knew where it was, but I didn’t want to keep on walking by myself). He gave me the directions and offered to join me, ‘cause he was going in the same direction. Cool! That creepy guy was following us, but I wasn’t alone anymore, uuuuuuuuuuuf! I arrived to the hostel and didn’t leave it until next day.
When I was at my dorm, I look through the window and saw him!!! creepy!!!!
The rest of the day, I just stayed inside relaxing and packing my stuff. I had a new roommate. She was a German woman who would catch the same train as I'd, yeah! I wouldn't be the only one waking up early, yay! She set her alarm clock and I was ready to go to bed and forget the bad luck of the day. I couldn't complain, I have been so lucky for the past days, that 1 day of bad luck would spice up my travel ;)

Although, you can visit this place since they also have a museum. This is what I did when I was in Milan.
In the museum you will be able to see besides paintings of music instruments, the real antique ones. Also you will find a collection of theater- and music-related porcelains & precious ceramics. You will also find paintings of all the famous musicians, singers who had ever performed or whose work was part of the theater. They will tell you about the famous concerts and shows performed there during the whole life of this theater.

It's located at the Duomo’s Square, full of fancy cafes, stores and bookstores. It's so trendy and fashion. It connects the Duomo's square with the Scala square. But it's not only about the stores inside. The architecture of this Galleria is beautiful. Its ceilings and floors are very nice too.
Of course everything is expensive here. So I don't think you'd do much shopping here, but at least take a walk through it and feel the fashion in the air.
