We get up early, at 5AM, pay for our hostel, which cost $37 per person, for 4 nights, including some meals and drinks, which isn't too bad, at all.  We walk around the corner, wait for a little while, then get on a cramped local bus, which takes us to the bus station.

The bus to Phnom Penh takes 6 hours, and we stop a couple of times. Not much to write about here. I hit my head getting on the bus. That's about it.

We get to PP, and have to transfer. As soon as we get there, the bus is swamped by hawkers, wanting to take us somewhere. We get our bags, and wait at the station. Apparently we have to get the 1:45 to Sihanoukville, and it's only 12:45. Luckily, the bus before was late leaving PP, so we hop on that one instead, and get on our way to S'Ville. PP seems OK, not as bad as people make out, but I can't imagine I'd want to stay there very long. But I was only there half and hour, so we'll see, when we go there soon.

The bus to S'Ville was uneventful, apart from the driver who was in love with his horn (they beep everything/one out here!). Unfortunately, the cow we hit was either deaf or stupid (or both) because we smacked it right in the face. Roadkill number 1....

We get to the Monkey Republic (via moto, scary shit!), check in, get a free beer, some food, then drink all night. Jameson and Coke, $1.50, Beer $0.75! Silly....and it's a tab too, so we are going to get stung! Oh well....

The rooms are pretty much right on the beach, in wooden huts, and, bizzarely, have no covers! Strange...still, we sleep good, on a combination of tiredness and alcohol...

Tomorrow, the beach!

Randomly, we meet a girl who spent a lot of her childhood in Little Spain, Selsey. What a small world....
