This is overlooking Hanauma Bay, where I wanted to go snorkeling one day, but couldn't - too many jellyfish. Since the Bay was closed from tourists, I was able to take some scenic photos.

Aloha!

Still having a great time in Hawaii.  I have a couple of pics to share with you.  The first is from Hanauma Bay, where I wanted to go snorkeling this week, but couldn't - too many jellyfish.  Since the Bay was closed from tourists, I was able to take some scenic photos, including this one.  The second is of Wu Fat's in Chinatown - you know, from Hawaii Five-0 (or however you spell it).  No action going on when I went - too bad.  I was hoping to dodge a couple bullets or at least be saved from a swerving car.  Oh well, a girl can dream.  The last one is from a market in

Chinatown - I though you might appreciate the local delicacy.

  Yum yum.

I have noticed a few things in my first week here and thought perhaps I should share.  1.  Prostitutes are aplenty, but they disguise themselves as nice clean women - how these guys can tell them apart from the rest of the people here is beyond me.  I will have to tell you that story when I get back.  2. Women do not leave home without a thick layer of perfectly applied make up.  And I mean, perfectly applied - like models. This does not matter whether you are hitting the beach for the day or simply running across the street for groceries.  3. Speaking of running across the street for groceries, I don't think I'll be doing that again anytime soon.  Last night I walked one block to the market and I think I heard "Hey baby, whatcha doing tonight?" a record 50 times!  Ugh!  so that leaves me to my last observation, 4. Apparently tourists and locals alike do not get enough action.

This is a sex starved island.  It's worse than DC, and I think that's saying a lot.

But other than that, I'm having a great time!  I hope you have a terrific weekend!

Cheers,

Jack
