In Waikiki, I'd walk the few blocks to the beach and listen to The Mantra Mix. During the 1st song, (Fatboy Slim's "Right Here, Right Now") I was halfway to the beach and in the middle of the 2nd(London Suede's Everything Will Flow), I had made it.
Aloha!
Just wanted you to know I made it here safe and sound after the craziest St Pat’s Day ever.  Yes, I actually made it on time to the plane with no sleep, but let me tell you, I forgot all about it once I touched the ground.  Here’s a couple pics showing you just how wonderful it is here, and I’ve only seen one part of Oahu -- Waikiki.  One is the view from my mom’s apartment in Waikiki.  The other is of Diamond Head, which I could see while soaking up the rays.
Last night I went to a seafood buffet.  You know how calabash (right word?) bars in South Carolina have seeming endless seafood?   Let me tell you that is nothing compared to the amount of seafood here.  I’ve never seen it prepared it so many ways -- and the sushi is the best ever.

Today I’m going to stroll around the city -- without a car it’s hard to get to the other parts of the island, but I’ll do that this weekend.  I’ll be sure to send you some more pics from the other islands and from all the scenic locales I visit.
Who wants an aloha shirt?  Bill already placed his order a couple weeks ago for the craziest one I could find -- from what I’ve seen, that won’t be a problem!
