The Presentation: Who's going?

The trip with a capital 'T' starts early morning on February 14th, Valentine's Day.  India, China, Mexico, Cuba, Peru and Brazil.  Destinations I could only dream about when I was younger.  Back then the most exotic place we ever went was Denmark.  I can't wait to explore the world.  I started in January 2007 with South Africa.  I absolutely loved it.  Now I'm back for more.  The whole world is waiting for me.  Well, not just me.  I'm not going by myself, I have three good friends I got to know during college who's joining me.  Kristine, Marianne and Rannveig.  Four norwegians with such a sick sense of humour is leaving Norway for 4 months.  How on earth will we survive?

Kristine (21 will be 22 when we're leaving):  I bet she's the one of us who talks the most.

Rannveig (22):  She was in my class for 3 years in college, and that's also how I met her.  Just like Kristine she appreciates beer.. but also a lot of other things.  Sometimes it seems like she's high on caffeine, but I find it quite entertaining.  We've been talking about this trip for a really long time, and finally we're going!

Marianne (22):  I guess she's the one I know least of us who's going.  But that doesn't concern me.  She's a bit like me.. loves photography and organizing things.  I think we started talking about this trip about a year ago, and she was all for it right away, and still is. 

And then there's me, Frida (21):  Restless and eager to see the world.  Loves photography and meeting locals from all over.  I'm a bit of a organizing-freak, and creates lists over everything.  Likes a good party, but also the lazy days.  Hoping to get some great photos and unbelievable experiences on this trip. 

I think we're a nice, funny, and great group of people.  I have no doubt it's going to be a successful trip.  Definitely the time of our life.  I'm hoping to bring a video camera as well, so we can show friends and family at home how much fun it is to experience the world.
