We got up early this day. Really early. All set at 5:20 am, so we could see the sun rise at Taj Mahal. We paid about $17 to get in. A lot more than Indians, who only pay $1. It's like that all over India. Are you a foreigner, you have to pay. You should also dress warm, cause it's really cold early in the mornings. Kinda strange, since it's really warm during the day. Yet coming from minus 7 degrees celsius, and loads of snow, it was kinda a big change for us.
The tourists are getting to Taj early. When we arrived there were already a lot of people, who was standing in front of the beautiful building.. ready to get some good shots, and watch the sunlight play with the bright white marble.
When you get to see the whole thing with your own eyes, you don't really need an explanation of why it's one of the seven new wonders. It's absolutely beautiful! It's so huge, so white.. it looks so clean. And you feel so small standing in front of it.. thinking about everybody who's been visiting this monument. Even the King of Norway has been here.. and had his picture taken in front of it, on the marble bench, where everyone wants to sit.
You get a strange feeling walking around it, gazing at it. Thinking.. "Wow.. I'm actually seeing it with my own eyes.."
