after dinner at CampoBravo on my first night in Buenos
Arrived in Buenos Aires at 4:50 in the morning and got through customs by about 6.  Eric met me with flowers (multi-colored daisies) and took me back into the city via cab.  We couldnt check into the hostel until 11:00 and Erics host family doesnt allow him to have visitors.  We went to a cafe in the area and had apple pastries, coffee, and orange juice to try to waste some time.  We went to Erics host familys house anyway to move Eric  out and his senora invited me in.  After leaving his home for the past 4 months we stopped by the international exchange program office to check our emails and let me parents know that I have not yet been kidnapped.  By that time we were both delerious with sleep deprivation and went to the hostel.  Slept until about 7 pm and then got ready to go out.  We had a wonderful dinner at CampoBravo, a parrilla (Argentine BBQ) that had amazing food.  Eric and I both had steaks, side dishes, and split a bottle of Malbec.  Including coffee and tip, it was less than $40.  We walked around for awhile, enjoying the Argentine nightlife and quaintness of the small communities (barrios), and then bussed home.
