A sneek holiday

I was working Phuket Thailand but my friends Alisa and Ann come from Bangkok and want to stay for a month also. I could not really took off and have a holiday just like that So, we plan a day get away to a boat trip to Tapu Island (James Bond Island).

The boat ride was not bad, with some refreshment and snacks. The sea was calm as we are on the Phang Nga gulf.. (North East side of phuket island). I was thinking, this is really not so much adventure. Then my friends reminding me that this is a relaxing trip so we all can relax and put our feet up.. So, I did put my feet up and out toward the see and out of the boat looking out to all the small islands and strange shape island along the side.

At last, we arrive The Tapu Island (Nail Island) is a strange shape island that Bigger on the top than that of the bottom.

(If you remember James Bond with the Golden Gun; on top of Tapu Island there would be some kind of radar, with really hot lady on the beach) However, reality is much simpler than fiction. There is not so much to do or interesting really. I think it is just nice photo shoot. A small hike trip up took about 5 mins. and the result there is a photo spot there to take the picture of your self with Tapu island. Luckily, I went there with good friends so we enjoy ourselves. As ususal, there are things for sell, we just bought a bbq squid with some thai style chilli sauces. It is really too bad that there are so many writing on some part of the island and that is really putting me off. I always thought that the best way to travel is to "Leave only foot print. Take only photo, Touch only self memory and soul."

We hop back on to the boat again and go to our next island where we finally did some activities, Kayaking. I enjoy the Kayaking entering the cave more than Koh Tapu. I mean if the water is not yet receeded we could not get in or out of the cave. Too bad, it was too dark to take the picture of the water cave.

We Kayaking into water cave and enter "Koh Hong" (Room Island) The island is small but have a salt water lagoon inside. To enter must wait til the water receeded and enter water cave. Legend said that "Koh Hong" was a base of pirate operation 200 years ago. (I doubt it)

Then we stop by on a small beach for relaxation and kayaking. I had some cocktail on the beach, sky and wave.. one of the really good relaxing day.. All in all it was good distration from work. I must really thank my good buddy Alisa & Ann to come by and visit me so I can have this sneek holiday.
