Spring and summer in Inuyama

Inuyama city is located in the north part of Aichi-ken. The population of our city is about 75,000. It takes only 30 minitus by train from Nagoya to Inuyama. Inuyama festival is held every first weekend in April. The floats are pushed forward by men under the wooden wheels. The lanterns of all floats are made of paper, so this festival had been sometimes canseled because of heavy rain. Inuyama Castle was designated as a Japanese national treasure.
