Fort Morgan Beach

I think that people have the wrong idea about Alabama. I have lived here all of my life and I want everyone to know what a special place it is. We have the beautiful Gulf of Mexico in Mobile County and the gorgeous colors of autumn from Montgomery to the Tennessee line. It's not necessary to travel to the mountains of North Carolina to see glorious color ~ we have it right in our own backyard.

Fort Morgan Beach

A short drive out Fort Morgan Road will reward you with beautiful white beaches and azure water.   If you are one of the lucky ones that own a beach home, sit back and relax in your own private part of heaven.  The warm water welcomes swimmers any time of the day or night.  It feels like the 1950's with no fast food, no swimming pools and no tiki bars.

I agree with your comments. Spent the last few winters in Summerdale and visit this beach area many times.
