The start of the cruise from Vancouver to Alaska
So, I'm not a big fan of cruises but I couldn't think of a prettier way to see the outer coast of Alaska. This trip was awhile ago for me but I still remember it well and it left a great impression on me and a pride that this beautiful state of Alaska is part of the USA.
I went with my aunt and my cousin for one week of cruise around the coast and one week of train through the middle, ending in Fairbanks. My little cousin picked this trip. At first I thought I would have rather gone to Hawaii (our other option) but I am so glad we went here instead because we had a great time!
We started in Vancouver but didn’t get to see the city besides a drive by on the bus. Too bad, because it looked like a beautiful city and with great views of the Pacific. I’ll have to go back.
