We totally bummed around Granada for almost 4 days, doing nothing much of note except drinking Flor de Cana rum and meeting hostel hippies and Dutchmen. Then we headed out to Costa Rica to meet up with Andy and Tom, which required an 8 hour bus ride and two nights in a town near the airport. woo. I think our friend Kevin wondered to Beau over g-chat why we weren't doing any "traveling", since we were on the internet a lot. Basically, logistics are a pain in the ass. We all want things to go smoothly while friends are visiting, so lots of travel research and figuring out of travel arrangements needed to be done.
Aaaand...it paid off spectacularly! We saw so much lava.
Today we are in San Jose, waiting for Kristen and her friend Evan. We are heading out to the Caribbean side tomorrow to do some snorkeling at Cahuita. I'll try to keep updates flowing, and maybe some pics from Andy's camera.
