Me, floating away into Cave 2.

We have been in San Ignacio since the 11th.  Today we went to the Caves Branch Preserve and did some tubing down the river, through a couple of caves.  The caves were a lot longer than I thought.  It was pretty awesome, though a bit cold by the end.  I was waiting for some warm sunshine when we came out at the mouth of the last cave, but it started pouring almost immediately after we floated out.  We had a little ways to float down the open river before we were back to the camp, so we ended up being more soaked at the end than we had been in the cave waters.

I'd like to post pictures now that we've found some computers that work, but it's late, Beau's hard drive is back in the room, and we are leaving early tomorrow.   So, you'll have to wait until after Tikal for the last Caye Caulker photos and all since then.

UPDATE* pictures have arrived, though after I got two of the cave tubing on here, my computer ceased to upload more photos and refused to open even one more internet page.  I'll probably add some others to this and to monkey river, cause Beau has all the cool the spider and me almost falling off a mossy log-bridge into a mucky jungle swamp.
