Getting to Catalina Island

I was staying in Long Beach and went out for a walk, all I had with me at the time was my American Express card, a few dollars and a Video camera. 

I explored the bay a bit and found out about Catalina Island, so decided to get the boat over.  Once I got there, I was amazed at how beautiful the Island was and how happy and laid back everyone there was. Despite being 22 miles off the coast of California, it is surprisingly modern with plenty to do.
