One of my favourite sculptures :)
So one day my friend decided she wants to buy a jacket. And since there are no cool shops in out hometown (obviously), she decided we should go to Toruń. It's only 40 min by bus away and I love the old part of the town, so i thought "What the heck?"
After we arrived to the city we took a walk on one of the main streets - Chmielna - and head for the old market square. Having done a marathon through some of the shops and FINALLY picked the right jacket for Kasia (it's hard to suit her taste!) we decided it's chocolate time and stoped by this lovely cafe (a bit posh and pricey but I guess that's the way we like it some times ;) ). Delicious cup of cherry chocolate! We also felt like eating something but, alas, we got lost (ok, I admit, I got lost - which is highly unusual , 'cause I now this city very well and I never get lost when on my own - the same thing happened in Prague :P)  We ended up having a good meal at Green Way (it took me ages to find it).
Stylish :)

When it got a bit late we realized we have no money for the bus fare. What do we do? Hitch-hike of course. NOT! We took a tram and got off at the last stop by the freeway to our destination. Alas, no driver took interest in two cute girls wanting to get a lift. For almost 50 minutes! What's with those people?
So we got bored, took the tram back to the center and after taking out some money from the ATM, managed to catch one of the last buses to Bydgoszcz. We were so tired we snoozed a bit.
All in all - a fun day :)

You can also check out my friend's travel blog from that day: http://www.travbuddy.com/travel-blogs/34977 (have no idea will she update it any time soon? Any comments on that, Kasia?)
