Michele and I went down to Minneapolis a little early and stopped at Gluek's, a German pub and restaurant (see review).  We ate outside and people watched before going to the Shout House.  We also stopped at a little candy store before dinner that had some delicious Chippers (see another review that will be written soon).

This visit was on a Wednesday night for 80s night and it was crazy busy!  There were tons of people there and tons of requests.   There were actually so many people there that it was hard to hear the pianos and singing over the crowd.  I was super excited that Steve was there again - he's the hot guy that sang to me last time.   Since it was so busy, there were four players that rotated in and out - each team of two doing a one hour shift and then the overlap with all four playing pianos, drum or bass.

"Joy to the World" sung really slow for those people from Iowa ;)
It was awesome!  Since it was 80s night, they only played songs form the 80s or found in 80s movies.  We requested a song, but they didn't play it before we had to leave :(  It was really busy and they tried to keep people from standing up around the tables, but there was a big group next to us that kept standing and blocking the aisle and our view because they didn't have enough chairs.  Most tables and chairs were full and there were tons of people standing at the back and on the sides.  It was so loud from all the people talking it was really hard to see the players and near impossible to hear them singing.  It was still fun and they had a lot more crowd interaction than the last time I was there.

A couple of girls went on stage that night for birthday songs and they both got bumper stickers as well.  However, neither of them got a sticker put on from a guy's forehead rubbing between their breasts!  Woo hoo!  I got lucky on my first visit to Shout House!
