Although this entry says London we didn't get to London until around 9:30pm but I decided that I should put the location as where I spent that night. We had to check out of St. Christophers at 10 but our train didn't leave till 4 so we had some time to kill. Melissa and I became very good at killing time by the end of our trip haha. We stored our bags and got some lunch..while we were having lunch we used this opportunity to send home a few postcards. We walked up Carlton hill and got an amazing view of the city and along the way we found a really cool old graveyard where we went and took a whole bunch of photos for no particular reason really. After that we went to the Sainsburys and bought some food for dinner on the train and then we just sat around in the chill out room until it was tiem to go catch our train.

And that's why I hate piccadilly backpackers!!
In the end, our time in Edinburgh was OK but I wouldn't say it was the funnest time on our trip. I think mainly because we had just come from Bath and we had an awesome time there so we were kind of expecting the same kind of thing to happen in Edinburgh. As well, it was early in our trip when we were novices and we didn't know the true beauty of pub crawls yet. If only...haha

The train back to London was 5 hour long so we didn't get into till around 9 and then to the hostel around 9:30. Except this time we wern't allowed to pay seperatley because apparently you're never allowed to do that even though we had just done it about a week ago!! As well the debit was down, internet was down, plug outlets in our room were broken, and the sheets did not fit on our bed. Oh and the "free" breakfast now cost 2 pounds. We were tired and grumpy so we just went to bed. And the number 1 reason why I hate Piccadilly backpackers...The next morning I was sitting on the ground packing up my bag when I reached accross my bunk to grab my brush. Well there was this broken jagged piece of metal sticking out of my bunk which I was not aware of and when  I reached across it made a huge cut right across my arm which I am still scarred from to this day!!
