Butterfly in the Key West Butterfly house
Today we reached the most southern point of the USA, Key West in Florida. I thought that they would have at least a big shopping mall, but they also didn’t. It is a bit disappointing. They don’t really have things to buy over here. So I have to wait again, for some place where they will have a supermarket, that wont be that expensive. I wanted to buy some things from the drugstore. Like shower gel and shampoo. They have, but the showergel would be around 9$, which is just crazy.
I went into the Butterfly house, which is a really nice place to be… It is not really big, but as a crew member they let us in for free and I got the chance to take some great pictures of the butterflies. Afterwards I bought an acrylic case with some dried butterflies inside. They look really great. I got a big blue one and some yellow and orange butterflies. Before I went to the dentist. I paid 91$ for a x-ray. Afterwards they figured out that they wont be able to help me, as it is a huge hole in my teeth and if they would start to fill it, it would effect the nerve directly and it would start to hurt even more. So this means that I have to wait until I am back in Germany in 5 (!!!) months and than they will have to do a root treatment. L I don’t want to… but I guess there is no other choice.
After I finished the butterfly house I strolled down the Duval Street, going back in the direction of the vessel. On my way I found a Hägen Dasz ice cream store, where I spend around 5$ for 2 scoops of ice cream, but it was really good. ;) Also I met Nathalie and Chris on my way and had a look in some of the shops.
