Everything went perfect at the consulate on Tuesday. It was a nice feeling to have everything arranged, now I only needed to wait for my passport to be sent to me. On Thursday I started to worry, my passport still hasn't arrived. In the evening when I was finaly able to connect onto the internet again I found out that it had been sent to the wrong address. My friends were trying to convince me of the fact that everything will turn out for the best and that I will get my passport on time. I shoudn't think about it for now, since there was nothing I could really do about it till next morning. So we went climbing in Rotterdam, I must say I didn't enjoy it much, but I was grateful for the distraction. My climbing also sucked, which didn't really make it any more enjoyable.
On Friday morning I called the post office, they told me that it should arrive that day. When I explained the situation the man told me that if I didn't recieve it by two o'clock that afternoon I should call again and maybe he could get a superior to take a look at my case. As I was worried sick and packing suddenly at around noon the bell went. When I heard it was the postman I ran downstairs only to find out that the door is locked. I ran up the three flights of stairs again, got the keys and hoped that in the meantime the postman wouldn't magically disappear into thin air. When I finally unlocked the door and to my relief the postman was still standing there with my package I almost flew at his neck and hugged him. But he looked like a man who wouldn't appreciate it, so I held back. But I am leaving after all! HURRAY
