The infamous "OK Corral". Paid admission is required.

Yesterday was long so we decided to sleep in and leave the motel around 9 a.m.   Arriving late last night made it impossible to get our bearings and none of us knew exactly what to expect in Tombstone.  Jerry and Randy are huge fans of the "old west" movies and knew the history in Tombstone, so they were looking forward to finally seeing it up close and personal.  The first thing we noticed were the dirt roads.  Not good news when your traveling on a big street bike.  We parked close to the County Courthouse and made our way around the town on foot.    To our surprise, the OK Corral required an admission fee, but we dug into our pockets and coughed up the fare.  None of us would dare pass by the chance to see the actual spot where Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday made history.  Janice and I found plenty of shopping and spent way too much money.  But, after all, that is what vacation is all about.   After lunch, it was time to load up and be on our way to New Mexico.  The sun was warm and the sky was blue.  What else could a girl ask for?
