Funka? What the hell is that?
Funka was one of my fauvorite vacation's place when I was a teenager. Orginaly it's a scout camp situated at the Charzykowski Lake in some National Park (Zaborski, maybe. Not sure, we've got plenty of them). I loved the time that I spent there with my friends.
It was kind of art-language-sport's camp, so we've had a lot of stuff to do. Once we were filming a movie about King Arthur. There are some photos, but I will never show you the result (sorry, too embarasing). We had also theatre classes, English (of course), Japanese if you would like to learn some, and what is the most important SWIMMING.... and some other things connected with the lake- like sailing (but don't look at me, I'm able to fell out of the canoe ;>). Oh, and my fauvorite archery- there were some guys from the Knights' Society, so we had a lot of weapon ;>.
Oh, and early morning wake-ups with jujitsu and hatha yoga.We were supposed to live in tents, but in we ended up sleeping in huge entertainment room. So we had even a TV and CD-player. Can you imagine 12 teenagers sleeping on the floor is sleeping bags in one room? The mess, of course, was out of this world. But who would care... Not only there were 12 pigs in one poor room we've also kept our weapons with us. So swords, bows, daggers and pieces of armours were everywhere. That was a time when I was sleeping with my sheath knife under the pillow.
Cool times that unfortunatelly passed. But I have a lot of friendships from that period. So it defenitely wasn't a waste of time
