Before you go to Lisbon
September 7, 2007
DO book a hotel in the centre. Baixa, Bairro Alto or Alfama are good quarters to stay.
If you hate walking and walking stairs, DON't go!
3 Days is enough to see the most. DON't go longer. You have to walk a lot and will be very tired.
If you DON't like shops, stay home. You see shops everywhere and I think it's great!
If you like to eat early, DON't go! The Portugese eat around 3 pm and between 9 and 11 pm. If you go around 2 or 8, you certainly have a table.

This Hotel is not the Best ever. But it's very central and near every sort of trnasportation and a few hot spots.
There are rooms with shower and toilet and rooms with shared bathroom.
The Breakfast is ok for an portugese breakfast. Just a croissant, marmelade, coffee, juice and tea.
