Sunday was spent catching up on Twin Peaks (only one disc to go, and that disc doesn’t work *is sad*) and started on Criminal Minds. I got the job of logistics (Librette is coordinator) for the skating activity for that afternoon. Found that the skating rink at the China World Mall is open until 10pm and it costs 30-50RMB for 90 minutes. Then the plan called for dinner at the Taj Pavilion (Indian food). It ended up being me, Librette, Paula and Jan, Wandi wasn’t skating but she said she’d be there. So with the logistics and coordinating done, I watched the first disc of Criminal Minds, Season 3.
End of Criminal Minds, Season 3, episode 2- one of my FAVORITE songs- “Broken” by Lifehouse. Love it, love it, love it. Glad to see someone else appreciates it as much as I do.
Skating was good! Didn’t take long to find in the mall since there were signs, but I was waiting for Jan and Librette and Paula went to make sure that the restaurant was still open.
Everyone had a great time skating, and there are pictures to go with it. After skating, we went to Taj Pavillion where we settled down and ate good, but IMHO a little expensive, Indian food.
We played two games of bowling, then we headed out and went back to my place.
Now, I’ve been doing Music Club since the day after Christmas, every Wednesday for 50 minutes. This week’s class- Love Songs (Valentine’s Day was the next day). And the songs I chose- 3 Doors Down- Landing in London, Lifehouse- Broken, Ryan Adams- When the Stars Go Blue, Mariah Carey & Luther Vandross- Endless Love and Brian McKnight & Vanessa Williams- Love Is. And which did the students like… 3 Doors Down and Lifehouse!!!! …after my own heart! J
Valentine’s Day was uneventful, just my usual four classes…except for the surprise from Jan! He gave me a card and some M&Ms (he knows they’re my favorite). So I did get something for the dreaded V-Day after all.
