Sound Advice from Seoul

Time to quit my safe 9-5 job and ramble on to foreign places with some new and old faces. Time to pretend I'm still a college student with no other responsibility than to find the next great adventure. And that's exactly what I plan on doing. So come along with me and enjoy the ride.

This is the first picture I took in South Korea.  Just about sums up my goal in life.  I think I'm going to rename this blog "Quarter Life Crisis Tour 2008: Making Myself Fucking Lovely."

If you're ever interested in checking this store out (I know you are), it can be found in Itaewon - a popular section of the city for tourists and US Army men.  The area has a lot of shops with cheap goods, restaurants that serve foreign foods, bars and places to partake in "questionable" entertainment (in the words of the Lonely Planet Guide).  Honestly, it has become a little seedy, but it's still a place you have to experience when you come here.  My favorite part was obviously the store Kevin is modeling for (which sells who knows what) and my least favorite part was being assailed on all sides in the Hamilton shopping plaza by people trying to get me to buy things - "Shot glass!?" "Jewelry box?!" "You want fur coat?"  Ahhhh, I've only been in the country for 20 hours, I don't know!
