Flying into Central America

In the morning, the plane stops in San Salvador, a lovely city that nonetheless may be destined to be best known as a Taca hub. The descent in is amazing, over a series of gorgeously green, perfectly conical volcanoes. We switch planes and fly another leg to San Jose, Costa Rica, before getting on another plane that finally flies us to Panama.
