At the start of July I took one of the most amazing trips of my life. It was filled with a culture I had never seen before and tinged with a fear sadly instilled in me by travellers before me. My experiences though were some of the most amazing so far. I saw the Ramyana Ballet, visited temples and palaces, rising in the wee hours of the morning to the sounds of the call to prayer. All this while enjoying a new culture on a distant shore. Indonesia was amazing and a pure pleasure to see.
For $7 a night you just can't beat this place. Comfortable beds. Good service including a cheap laundry service. The gentleman at the desk can arrange any tour you want and can point you in the right direction for just about anythiong else. The Hotel has a certain charm to it as it is just packed with beautiful antiques. Would definitely recommend this place to just about anyone. Although they have a menu the owner says he can't cook well and will simply send you across the street to a nice little cafe with a good menu.
