We got up this morning and headed over to the Vatican City. It was really awesome to see St. Peters especially since it was stil decorated from Christmas. We went all the way to the top of St. Peters (which was quite atreck up to the top). Despite all the winding staircases to the top, the view of Rome made it totally worth it. Afterwards we went to the Sistine Chapel hoping to tour it, but unfortunately it was closed so no luck there. We spent the rest of the day shopping and then headed back to the hotel to get ready to go out for dinner. We asked the concierge at the hotel, if he could reccomend any nice restaurants. He mentioned two restuarants that were resonably priced and had a good atmosphere. We chose one that was located near the Spanish Steps. We walked into the restaurant and realised that this restaurant was not going to be cheap. There were people dressed in really nice suits, women with tonnes of shiny jewelry. We were were not dressed for this and definately got some looks but we didn't care. Dinner ended up costing us about 300 Euros for the three of us but it was totally worth it. The wine, the pasta, the fish, the dessert.. it all was sooooo good. I like Italian food anyways but of course, Italian food in Italy has no comparrison. Tomorrow we have an early afternoon flight back to London.
