Its our last day in  Paris  now, and the city has been great. we have seen just about all the major sites in the city.  We arrived around 4 and found our place pretty easily, its a really nice place actually, a bit small but the people who own it are unusually nice, but dont speak any english , which it turns out is pretty common with the people here.  After that we got on the ,metro which is right outside the hotel and went to the arc de trioumphe and down the champs elysesse.  THere were some of the most expensive stores i have ever seen; mostly designer clothes and car dealerships that had actual red carpets out for the people entering.  We then went to the eiffel tower which was qll light up and sparkling so we heqded up to the top for a great view< because the night was clear.  excuse qll the ,mistakes, this french keyboard is way different qnd this is tqking me forever to type so its going to be full of ,istakes from now on:  the next day we heaed for the louve saw the mona lisa and all the rest; then musee dorsee for the im^pressionist paintings as zwell as notre dame.  We were pretty tired so we just got some wine and watched les simpsons which is still funny in french:  the next day we went to versailles and the picasso museum the picasso was ok just because i donĂ¹t get it at all:  today we checked out and are wandering around up to sacre couer and a market to buy some stuff; i should be sending another packqge soon; has the other one got there yet? tonight we hqve     a night train to munich for oktoberfest and lots of fun there
