Venice has redeemed itself...
So, Venice is getting better- my last entry was a little negative, I know, but I was having a bit of a day....
We've seen so many beautiful things, and aside from the hotel staff and train station staff, people here are very nice. The setting makes it all worth it. The students have been threatened with getting kicked out of the hotel many times and have been called stupid Americans, also by the hotel staff, but I think they are having a great time nonetheless. This is the kind of city where you can just walk and walk and never see the same thing twice. And just when you think you are in no man's land, you come upon something spectacular. I love it here.
We went to the Guggenheim yesterday, which is amazing, and are heading to Academia today. We went to a concert in a beautiful chapel night before last and are planning to have a great dinner tonight to celebrate our defeat of the staff who have plotted for our demise :). I am sad to leave tomorrow, but Rome is going to be amazing also, so I think I'll be OK...
I'm sorry there are no picutures... I just tried to post some and the laptop did not like it, so none for now... maybe later, and certainly after I get back to the states and my own little laptop.
