The Rosetta Stone
So our last two days in London have been great- here is a brief summary...
Yesterday we hit two of the big ones- the British Museum and the Tower of London- both wonderful.  We spent most of our time in the British Museum in the Egyptian and Enlightenment sections and it was great.  We could have stayed there all day but there was much to see!  We were off quickly to the Tower of London, which cost about $30 to get into, but was really worth it.  The Crown Jewels were amazing and seeing all of that history was really incredible.  We had a blast.
Today we did the obligatory viewing of the Changing of the Guard and an Asian woman pushed herself so close to me that I think she merged with me at one point.

.. anyway, it was cool and something to check off the list :). Then we had our last pub lunch and split up to see some more sights.  I headed to Carnaby Street for some shopping, which was GREAT, then to St. Paul's Cathedral.  I spent a lot of time in there and climbed the  350+ steps to the middle level of the dome.  It was wonderful- a great way to spend my last afternoon in London :).  We went out for one more drink once we met at the hotel and actually ate burgers for dinner- hey, we were homesick, what can we say...
I can't believe we are leaving tomorrow.  This 6 weeks has absolutely flown by.  It has been an amazing trip that I am so thankful to have been on- I will never have the chance to do this again and it has been worth every minute of stress.  I can't wait to come back!
