Campeche to Merida

As I said, our plan is to move on as quickly as possible. I still want to do a quick tour of the Archeological museum here which is supposed to have some beautiful artifacts from the surrounding Mayan ruins, including Calakmul, in particular jade jewelery and death masks. At lunch time we then want to catch a bus to Merida which is only two or three hours away and from there I want to go to Chitchen Itza (sp?) and maybe to Coba as well (after a recommendation over breakfast this morning) whereas Nicole might head straight onto Tulum to chill out at the beach there for a few days.
UPDATE: We ended up not making the museum in time as we first had to back up our photos onto CD and then post of some postcards which I had been meaning to do for months already. We then just ended up taking the bus to Merida which was quite close and we had heard was quite happening.
