Arrival in Milan

We took the train from Nice to Milan which first followed the coast along the french riviera with some really stunning views. Although we passed through Monaco the train station is underground so unfortunately we didn't really see any of it.

After some slightly panicked sms'ing on the train as Anna seemed to think that we were arriving the next day, we eventually did meet her at the station (she even had to wait for us as our train was quite delayed) and caught up a bit at her place over some bottles of wine.
