This was just a wonderful day!! As my friend Judi would say,”Be still my heart!”
We went to the quilt show at the DECC in Duluth.
The show name is “Quilting on the Waterfront” and is well known among us quilting enthusiasts. There were well over 500 quilts on display as well as lots of vendor shops to visit and spend money at. I took 535 pictures. Dave and I both were impressed with the talent that was on display. This was such an unexpected treat. We just happened to end up in the right place at the right time. I couldn’t have timed it better if I had planned it. We got lots of steps in today.
We took I-35 towards Minneapolis, with not many overnight RV parks along the way.
We decided to stay at the Grand Casino Resort RV Park for the night. The Grand Casino was just that, Grand. Full hookup, cable, free WiFi for just $19 with a bonus of detailed instructions on what to do if the Tornado Warning goes off during your stay!! <G>
