This was a Spanish language program that a bunch of us ended up attending. We traveled traveled to Sevilla with a couple chaperones, stayed in a hotel two nights, and then spent the remaining time with host families. We also went to Portugal.

Cordoba! and food poisioning

Alcazar.
Even though Cordoba is extremely well known for it's mezquita (mosque), temple, and catedrals, this was probably one of the worst days of my life.  After having gone to a Tapas bar at 1 am and eaten sketchy chicken...by 4 am I felt horrible and at 8 am I was to be on a bus to one of the hottest cities in Spain, in the middle of July.  It's still kind of funny.  There I was getting a tour of the Alcazar when I began to sweat buckets....more than anyone should in even 110 degree weather.  I started feeling worse and worse until we were in the main part of the church and I just broke down into tears.

And my host mom had packed me an amaaazing lunch of Coke and her famous sandwiches, which I had to give away.
