Next stop on the list was Ko Tao which was another one of the islands in the group with Ko Samui and Ko Phangan. Road upfront on a catamaran and soaked up the sun and the breeze kept me cool. Got very close to getting burnt but was just ok. Arrived and got a taxi to the main town bit. The island is very small but was quite busy and places were full and more expensive than Samui. Decided to get a place with a fan as it was cheap but it was a mistake as it was incredibly sweaty.
Went out down to the beach and had some drinks, good fun and pretty busy however the travellers are getting younger and younger and there seemed to be an influx of people who have just finished public school and have dyed blonde hair (male and female). It was the final of the European Championships that night so stayed out late watching that. The bar I was in seemed to be split in half with those who wanted Germany to win and those who wanted Germany to lose, I was happy to see Spain win.
Moved out of the sweaty room in to a nice room with really good aircon which was refreshing. Rented a DVD player and watched some DVDs and also did some sunbathing on the beach, generally took it easy for the next couple of days
