Tujuana, for a day of sight seeing and Corona Beer
We walked across the border and hopped onto another bus, which took us to downtown Tijuana, where we wandered the streets, bought some souvenirs and had some lunch. Back across the border to the USA and we had to wait for one of the other travellers who only had a student visa and was not meant to leave the states, so she was stuck at the Mexican border, and we were stuck waiting for her. While we were waiting one of the other travellers disappeared, we found out later he decided to take himself off back into Mexico without letting anybody else know, so we were two down and no idea if or when we would get them back.
Our tour guide decided to let the bus go back to San Diego with most of us on it, and have a couple of people wait for the other two. We had dinner booked in the hotel where we were staying and we still had to check in.
