When in Los Angeles one has to check out the posh part of town... so I went to Beverly Hills, and to Rodeo Drive and Wilshire.  Rodeo Drive is very beautiful, Via Rodeo, N. Rodeo and Wilshire Blvd. are full of expensive shops, boutiques and restaurants such as Tiffany & Co., Armani, Versace, etc.

After having done some great window shopping :) jewelry and clothing that costs more than my yearly salary, I decided to keep moving, driving down to Malibu is what I decided.

Driving down to Malibu on the famous Pacific Coast Highway (PCH to the locals), a very scenic road, you see the houses of the rich and famous, ferrarris in the driveway and the ocean only a few feet from their homes.

Tonight, I had tickets to the Xgames BMX Big Air Competition at the Staples Center in downtown LA, it is a spectacular event featuring the best BMX riders in the world doing sick stunts riding in from a 90ft ramp, risking their lives to put on a great show.

Just the night before, during the skateboarding competition, one contestant lost his board on the way up the vert and fell 50ft down to the floor, miraculously not breaking anything, able to walk away on his own.  Tonight, it was a great show, great tricks, stunts, and very few minor injuries :)
