Huiiiiiiiii!!!!

Or from bungy jump 134 m into a canyon to a horse back on the ground I could have called it. My first morning in Queenstown was spent being excited about the jump. After waiting around we all got on a tiny little mini bus with a guy calling himself 'dude' and looked like he had definitely been smoking something else than a regular cigarette. He made the bus swagger from side to side all the way up to the top of the canyon with me fearing for my life even before thinking of doing the buingy jump...

Not much time was waiting on the top, we were suited up immediately and got ready. Standing at the edge we could see the platform suspended over the cleft and watched in awe as the first person out there jumped with a loooooonggg scream.

Adrenalin started to pump through the body as we were pulled over to the platform, as I was sat in the wobbely chair at the edge getting the bungy cord on I was sure my heats beating could be heard by everyone else, and as I stood on the little platform the size of large A4 sheet I'm sure if you could have a submarine race in my blood veins they would have all passed both start and end before the blink of an eye. Then..... a little light push in my back, and wooooshhh I jumped... first no sound, too scared, but then, wooooooooo.....awesome. Bouncing up twice, then pulling then lead and hanging the right way and enjoying the view. And as I got up on the platform again, the adrenalin was so bad that I almost couldn't stand, I was shaking so hard.... phew. But what a feeling, this was actuallly cooler than the skydive, that was definitely not expected.

After that it was a pleasure being out on a scenic horseback tour in the Lord of The Rings mountains.  So beautiful and we got all the history of the films and the area. Walking though the rivers while the horses had a mouth full of the fresh mountain water, trotting through the meadows and taking a gallop in the valley with the magnificent background. And my good horse Leo was even a movie star ;)
