View of Chicago from the boat tour!!!
We were exhausted from our long and busy previous day, so we took advantage and slept in! The luxury of not having set plans while traveling. . .

Once we got into the city, we were hungry! We found a great river side cafe for lunch and enjoyed the mid-day sun.

We then searched out boat cruises and found one that did both the lake and river tour in one.  After booking our time, we walked down part of The Magnificent Mile. The Gardens of the Magnificent Mile displays were beautiful and the window shopping was great!

The boat tour was amazing! It was very hot, but out on the water it felt perfect! The great views of the city mixed in with information about history and architecture was a nice combo.

After the tour, we searched out ice cream and then hopped on the red line to make way to Wrigley Field. It was a fun stop. I'm not a huge sports fan, yet the air was filled with excitement and sports craziness! Plus, were were able to watch the practice runs for the air and water show!

We enjoyed visiting the Hershey store. MMMMM.

Then, we continued on the red line to meet up with Katie's cousin for an early dinner. They took us out for our first Chicago deep dish pizza. Then, they introduced us to a wonderful little coffee house were we chatted into the evening.
