le carlet
i arrived on time into poitiers and was amazed at the french transport system-clean, on time nothing like at home.
my dad, mam and oliver came to pick me up and we headed off to le carlet which is around a 40 mins drive. it was nice to see 'presh' again after 5 weeks. i had 5 weeks of torment to make up for :o)
the time spent here was all about relaxing and taking it easy.
we all had a day trip to the monkey park which was good. me and my sister got cornered by some cheeky chaps after the buggy. her face was a picture!
we had a morning to the local market in civray, mixing with the locals which is always nice.
i generally took it easy sitting by the pool.
i was really pleased to have a few days to unwind from work and general backage before i headed off. oh and i think i was honoured as the 'naughty dogs' made an appearance at the 12th hour to say bye.
