Do you like cycling? Do you enjoy il Giro, or le Tour, or la Vuelta? Then you may be interested in the tour over the Dolomites (the big mountains near Austria Border), that take place at the beginning of august.

How do I know that? Well, it happens that when we came out of the highway we stood another hour stopped in a jam until the last of those cyclist went out of the road!!!!

Obviously, we said goodbye to Trento. After losing too much time in traffic jams it was better to sacrifice it to enjoy this one. That is one risk of having a tight agenda, but we were on holidays and have much more places to discover so we keep our smiles high!

Bolzano looks like an Austrian city. Somehow it really is, as the county it belongs (Trentino-alto adigio) is the latest acquisition of modern Italy. German and italian are main languages, and you can see signs of this crossed cultures in arquitectures as the cathedral or buildings.

We enjoyed a street market plenty of food and flowers and enjoied a walk around streets and squares. Here we noticed for the first time the curious tradition of locking a padlock in the bridge of the city. It seems to be a lovers act, as some padlocks had the couple´s names on it, but we´ve never seen anything like that before.
