Lake garda from a traffic jam´s view

The bad thing about sleeping in different towns is that you have to find where your internet-booked hotel is, and big, well-located, easy-finding hotels are usually the most expensive ones.
The night before we drove until late to Gardone Riviera, a beautiful and posh area on the left shore of lake Garda. Signs are not always where they´re needed when you´re a foreigner but we finally made it. Our hotel, "Il Riccio" was at the end of what it seemed a well-off estate, like a cheap car parked in Beverly Hills, but it was comfortable, quiet and clean, all that we asked that night. If you can afford it, hotels and houses surrounding us looked an excellent option for an especial occasion.
Next morning we had an extremely good begining, with a breakfast at the private garden of the hotel, enjoying views of the lake. It has also a private quay (showed at the pictures): our cheap car was much better than we thought!!! With a broad smile, we went off the road to reach Trento and Bolzano.
There is another thing you must know about this Garda Lake: although is not the most beautiful (I fell in love of Maggiore), is by far the more visited, and left shore is a very common place. That means that you should ride your car early in the morning. We didn´t (it was a good breakfast, man!) and got stuck in a traffic jam for an hour. That´s why there is a lot of pictures of the lake but no cities!
