A random girls' trip to Cabo San Lucas (because you don't really need a reason to have fun). :)

Girls' Trip Cabo

Our goal for this weekend was to lay out, get some sun, dance a lot and RELAX!  I'm not sure if there was anything cultural to do nearby ... we really didn't venture that far from our resort (Me by Melia) to be honest.  But it's lovely to be able to take this type of break from LA - a nice alternative to Vegas.  :)

On the first day, we arrived in the afternoon, checked into our hotel and headed for the beach.  We were able to get these canopy beds right on the sand and just hung out there while we waited for our group of girls all to arrive.  At night, we grabbed a simple dinner at the Giggling Marlin (fun, cheezy - not particularly good food or anything) and then danced the night away at El Squid Roe.

I believe ME had just undergone an extensive renovation so the rooms were quite nice (comfortable with modern, eclectic touches), spacious and most of them have nice views of the pool and beach. I had read on tripadvisor that the noise level was quite loud but we didn't have any problems with that but then again, I'm a deep sleeper.

The best things about the hotel were: (i) champagne reception upon arrival - nice touch, (ii) the fun pool surrounded by canopy beds, (iii) the beach of course - just steps away and (iv) Nikki Beach (yummy daiquiris)!
