Leaving Treviso

Waking up in a miserable bed is never a pleasure but doing it in Itally makes you forget it very easy. The evening before we had gone to a little restaurant close to our hotel. We had an excellent diner and a fun evening. We had not been able to get a double room so we had separate rooms - this pleased my son a lot who found out that he could watch football all night.
We had a good breakfast even though the hotel had seen its best days. We left fairly early because we wanted to see some more of the city before leaving towards Slovakia. The temp was already in the morning 26 degrees - it was gonna be a very hot day.
I have now stayed twice in this hotel and it is following a trip that starts from bad to worse. The people there are sweet and nice but the hotel is getting more and more used. A good thing though - is that you even can get a room if you arrive very late.
We were told this time that the owners was planning some improvements - lets hope for that. The lobby and the surroundings are not bad, but the room have seen their best days and the beds are really tired.
