Flying to Seoul
May 7, 2006
The journey begins. Kim and the boys drove me to the airport around 11:30 this morning after a morning spent packing, finishing laundry, and generally feeling a bit sad about having to go away for a week. I'm excited to see Seoul again. But it is very hard to leave the boys and Kim behind, especially on such a beautiful Spring day as I flew away from.
Onboard Korean Air's excellent airplane, I watched a fun S.Korean movie, title translates as "The Beast and The Beauty." I wolfed down the bibimbap and seaweed soup. Then plugged into the Conexion by Boeing wifi service ($27 for the duration of the trip...though I should have gone with the cheaper option as my battery is on it's way out).
It's 6 now in Chicago and 8am in Seoul, so I think I'm going to give sleep a chance.
