A humble hotel at decent price...
The main advantage (and probably only) from this place is its privileged location.
The Soggiorno Berlini is situated only 2 minutes walk away from Santa Maria Novella, the main railway station.
Close to the Station and walking distance from everything, the hostel also is surrounded by many affordable restaurants.
They offer 5 rooms with shared bathroom although there are one or two with private shower.
Under the guise of an old building are hiding very basic rooms without the slightest trace of luxuries and details. Nor is notable for being an extremely clean place.
At least, the staff at reception (that is care of Hotel Ester, the hotel that is just across the street), was helpful and really kind. They let us leave our bags there after we check out in order to spend the last day in Florence without loads.
From my point of view, Soggiorno Berlini is a recommendable accommodation if you haven´t further expectations than a good location when you need a place to rest at after a long journey of sightseeing around the city.
